Inviting by Design was a seven-time award-winning graphic design firm specializing exclusively in custom invitations and high-end event collateral. Over more than 20 years, we built the business from the ground up — leading every aspect of design, client relationships, and creative strategy.

The firm became known for capturing the intentions of clients and the imaginations of their guests, earning a reputation for being genuinely inventive in a category where most designers played it safe. That reputation attracted an exceptional roster of clients including John Elway, Walt Disney Imagineering, the United States Ski Team, the Children's Diabetes Foundation, the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation, the American Red Cross, Club Med, the Vail International Dance Festival, and federal agencies including the GSA and FDA.

Award-winning projects included work for John Elway, the Vail International Dance Festival, and the Children's Diabetes Foundation — a client relationship I continue to this day.

The firm was featured in national publications including Exhibitor Magazine, Catersource Magazine, Dream Wedding Magazine, Colorado Expressions, Confetti Magazine, and Colorado Meetings and Events between 2004 and 2008.

One of the career moments I will never forget — proposing to Walt Disney Imagineering that we use Walt Disney's own original illustration of the Newman Theater as the border of their invitation. They said yes. Then we pushed further and asked for the Mickey Mouse logo too. The day that artwork showed up in my inbox — cleared and ready to use — was one for the books.
